about foekje fleur

about foekje fleur

I am Foekje Fleur and I like to design colourful products that seem playful at first sight but are in fact inspired by something serious: environmental pollution. I aim to spread awareness and make products that allow you to make a small change every day.

I produce as earth and animal friendly as possible. With fair work conditions for all partners and employees, whether that is Rotterdam, Delft, Italy, Portugal, or China.

I pay great attention to details. For our packaging, I collaborate with cool illustrators and print with dedicated printers on sustainable paper and cardboard, to make every product a perfect gift for yourself or anyone who’s up for some extra colour.

I love my retailers and take pride in representation with the most creative brick and mortar stores.

Judith van Lamoen
3rd year bachelor product design at Willem de Kooning academy

“Foekje betrekt je als stagiaire erg goed bij alles wat ze doet, waardoor deze stage ook een erg goede voorbereiding is op het leven na de WdKA. Zeker studenten die naast het creatieve proces ook geïnteresseerd zijn in de zakelijke kanten van een eigen bedrijf, kunnen hier heel veel leren.”

Alischa Kilburg
Master applied art and design at University of Applied Sciences Düsseldorf

“During my internship at Foekje Fleur I discovered the whole process in a design studio. While giving me a lot of responsibility I travelled to a tradeshow to Paris (Maison et objet) and got into contact with new customers. I learned everything about orders, invoices, production, shipping, launching a new product or photoshooting. Foekje and me discussed ideas for new products and packaging. And I even found myself a nice family far from home. A great allround-internship which made me feel confident to start my own business. “

“Proeven van het leven van een product ontwerperster met een eigen bedrijf. Heb je een vraag dan staan ze altijd voor je klaar, zelfs na je stage.”
